The Esse 700 Direct Vent Freestanding Gas Stove can be installed with a top or rear exit vent; the venting exit can be changed in the field to suit your installation design. The vent may terminate horizontally or vertically.

Order the stove separately plus one of our standard venting kits available, or you may order direct vent pipe components separately for installations that vary from the ones we show.

 

Specify LP or Natural Gas when ordering your stove. Remote control is included.

 

 

Venting Notes

• Maximum horizontal run with no vertical rise is 9" plus a starter elbow and horizontal termination cap.
• When the horizontal run exceeds 9", the center line at the wall thimble must be at least 56" - see diagram above
• No more than three 90 degree elbows may be used
• Two 45 degree elbows may be substituted for one 90 degree elbow; no more than six 45 degree elbows are allowed
• Vertical pipe installation up to 30' is allowed.
